Programme structure
The undergraduate programme in Medicine (MD) runs for six years at $46,000 per year. The specialized programme — for physicians pursuing one of thirteen medical specialties — runs for five years at $56,000 per year.
Fees are all-inclusive: transportation, meals three times a day and accommodation are included in the annual fee, so students can concentrate fully on their studies.
Your degree
The student receives the degree from UCMH (University of Medical Sciences of Havana) after completing the programme.
Before you travel
Once the letter of acceptance is issued, the student begins preparing the study trip. Before defining a travel date, take into account the documents necessary to present at registration and the start date of the school year. All enrollment documents must be duly legalized by the Cuban diplomatic representations abroad.
